Indecision is crippling. Whether we care to admit it or not, many of us who call Jesus Lord still have a problem with self-idolization. We want the eternal benefits Jesus provides, but we find it hard to let go of the temporal ego boost of being respected and honored by other people. While we claim Jesus as Lord on Sunday, sadly our Monday through Saturday lives are lived unto another “god.”
